I took this photo today, actually it is two photos blended together, if I took just the one photo, the clouds would be all burned out as digital cameras do not have the dynamic range for that. That's why, when you take a photo when it is bright and cloudy, the clouds usually don't have any detail. The camera has to expose either the clouds or the foreground but it can't do both. This is where photoshop is so useful.

Tyson earlier this evening, this was taken with a helios manual focus lens, there seems to be quite a green colour cast from this lens,still it only cost me £12 from ebay, and I can remove the cast in photoshop elements anyway.
